Caroline Kwiatkowska, a Canadian-trained MD with an MBA, is an experienced medical writer and editor who founded BizMD.
She practiced as a family physician for 8 years in Ontario. This was followed by 6 years of pharmaceutical experience working in top 10 pharma companies. During her work in the pharmaceutical industry, she found there was a need for knowledgeable medical writers, who not only have solid writing skills but also a clear understanding of the medical and business challenges. To address this need, she founded BizMD in September 2006.
Clients appreciate her clear, concise documents, written with the scientific and business objectives in mind. She is proficient at translating complex clinical data into clear messages for both scientific and lay audiences. In addition, she practices rigorous review of data to ensure scientific accuracy of the document. She is very familiar with GCP and ICH guidelines, having written numerous clinical documents (such as protocols, clinical study reports) for compounds in Phase II and beyond.
Other team members:
We work with other consultants, as necessary, to complete projects in a timely and effective manner. We draw on the expertise of an administrative assistant, an assistant medical editor, a statistician as well as a graphic designer, each of whom have many years of experience working in the medical field.
